The path drops gently down to a small bridge over Lavery Gill and then continues south above Lingy Bank, to cross Tongue Gill on a substantial wooden footbridge.

Almost following the contour lines, earth for panel four was collected near Scaleclose Gill, with Rosthwaite and the flat expanse of the Derwent valley below to the east.
